The bodyCushion Face Support consists of the Face Crescent and the Face Base.
The “Fresh Air” Face Base supports the Face Crescent and provides approximately 15 degrees flexion for the patient’s neck, thereby unloading vertebral junctures of the cervical spine while allowing abundant airflow to the face. The bodyCushion Face Crescent is a functional part of the Original bodyCushion and, as well, can be used separately, by itself for for Eye Surgery recovery.
The bodyCushion Face Support is adjustable: the Face Crescent attaches to the Face Base with hook and loop which allows the Face Crescent to be widened and located higher or lower on the Face Base to accommodate various facial structures. The Face Base attaches to Hook and Loop straps that extend from the bodyCushion Chest Support, and can be attached close to or farther from the Chest Support.
